The Burren Community and Social Group

 

The Burren Community and Social Group is a non-profit organisation which endeavours to promote and organise community events involving the parishes of Rath, Tubber, Ruan, Kilnaboy, Kilfenora, Carron and Corofin.

 

Our Mission Statement:

 

Our aims are to organise social events for the community, to promote community integration and to continue to develop the good community spirit that exists between the parishes of Rath, Tubber, Ruan, Kilnaboy, Kilfenora and Corofin.  To improve our community by facilitating members of the community in getting to know one another better and to involve all other organisations in the community in all said events.

 

To raise funds to cover the costs of providing said events as we are a non profit organisation, therefore if any profit is made from any particular event it will be used to promote future events.

 

The Group may also engage in fundraising activities for charitable causes from time to time as the committee sees fit.

 

We also welcome the involvement of any other outside group or individuals who wish to partake in any event organised by the group.
